There’s a new craze around altering books and visual journaling.  I find both extremely inspirational and a great forum for  trying different techniques that might normally be intimidating. These books really feed my Art Spirit.  Whenever I have a moment, I put a few things down on one of the pages and suddenly I’m lost in my own secret chamber, searching for hidden treasure.

This book was created as a journal and includes glued pages, painted pages, collages, and personal notes.

Wheel of Fortune

This book is a work in progress. It is the astrology book Wheel of Fortune covered in stained loose weave cotton fabric.

Pages are glued together to create an inset for a miniature horse painting.

When you open the book, the painting remains, and a miniature guest book is available for readers to sign in.
